Do you come on base?

Yes. I have the ability to come on base to serve clients in base housing.

What type of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, Zelle, Venmo and all major credit cards.

Does my pet really need their nails trimmed?

Absolutely! Just let us pet need their nails trimmed as part of routine care. In the wild animals keep their nails short by being in constant movement but since our pets are mainly kept indoors they don't have the opportunity to keep their nails short. Overgrown nails are painful and can cause foot deformities which can overtime lead to arthritic changes to the foot. Overgrown nails are at a greater risk of being torn, which is extremely painful and may result in a vet bill. Overgrown nails also can grow into the pads and cause dangerous infections and abscesses.

What is the right length for my dog's nails?

This is debatable and aesthetics can come into play. As a rule of thumb if you can hear your pet's nails click when they walk, they need a nail trim.

How often should my pet have his nails trimmed?

There are various factors that effect nail growth, breed, age, diet and activity level all heavily influence how often nail trimming should be done. Most pets fall in the range of 2-4 weeks between nail trimming. We trim our dogs nails once a week, the hairless dogs have their nails done every other day.

Why mobile nail trimming?

1. Less Stress. Grooming salons and vet clinics can be busy, loud and the environment can be scary for some dogs. Since the trimming is done in your home, there are also no strange dogs or stressful car ride to get there!

2. Convenience. We come to you! We have all the stuff- nail clippers, dremels, muzzles and a table (if needed), you can choose to help restrain your pet or we can attempt to do your pet while you go about your day. Most appointments take less than 15 minutes, so even busy schedules can be accommodated.

 3. Experience. I have been grooming for over 15 years, I have groomed dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, bunnies, reptiles, Guiana pigs, ferrets and birds. I am animal first aid/ CPR certified and a Master Groomer in canine dermatology.

4. Familiarity. We are a small, family owned business. You will have the same nail trimmer each time. I like to build a relationship with my clients and love to watch them grow up!

What types of animals do you do?

We do all dog and cat breeds, big, small and anything in between. We also do reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, bunnies and birds. We do ask that reptiles & birds are restrained by their people since they tend to take two people to groom. Reptiles must be non venomous and tame.

Do you do aggressive pets?

The safety and well being of your pet is always put first. I will work with any pet but there are some pets who do much better in a vet clinic than at home. I have muzzles nd gloves to protect myself and your pet but there are still some pets who don't benefit from an at home nail trimming.
